When something breaks, don’t worry. Bring me your broken jewelry (or other similar items) and I am happy to give you my expert advice. Sometimes there’s more than one way to address a jewelry “issue” and I am open to sharing and discussing those options with you. In some cases, if I don’t have the ability to fix your piece, I will send you in the correct direction, as I have gained many resources over the years.
ON-THE-SPOT REPAIR: starts at $5/item
KNOTTING: starts at $30/project
STRINGING: bracelets start at $7/ strand, necklaces start at $12/strand
Jewelry repair drop-offs require an approximate two-week turnaround at $30/hour. If you need a repair returned sooner, there will be an up-charge based on the amount of turnaround time.
Custom jewelry is a collaboration between someone with a vision and myself as a jewelry artist. It can be as simple or as dramatic as you wish, for it is your vision and your needs that we are trying to meet. These works have all stemmed from different reasons, as each case is unique from the next. Examples of custom include: starting from scratch with an idea, using up materials you already have, revamping an old piece of jewelry, combining several pieces of jewelry, and the list goes on. What can we make together?
Beading classes are private, and catered to your needs. I teach tips and techniques to assist you in mastering your own skills. There’s usually more than one way to execute any of the projects I teach, so I enjoy working with people to figure out which way works best for the individual.
I also teach simpler classes in a more laid-back setting. This is for people more interested in getting together with friends to do something different together. I go over the bare basics in jewelry assembly and assist you with simple tasks. Take a look at my parties album for more information on that.
PRICING: The price list below reflects instruction only. All classes have a separate material fee. Bead kits begin at $10 and many classes have a $15 kit, which include all the materials needed to complete your project. There is always an option to upgrade materials to precious metals and semiprecious gemstones. Tools are provided.

Kids workshops and parties are flexible! We can plan a quick bracelet workshop to help break up the time during afternoon errands, or plan a special project for a party to add some sparkle to someones special day.
Ideally, kids courses are appropriate for ages 5-12. However, I’ve discovered that bracelets are the perfect project for any age.

Ever thought about adding some sparkle to your celebration? Or maybe you just want to celebrate some sparkle! From bachelorette parties, to birthdays, to just being excited about jewelry; I’m happy to help.
Beading parties consist of simpler projects for groups to sit back, relax, and be creative. BYOB is welcome at such workshops, and not everyone needs to participate. This is a laid back setting with basic instruction, and some assistance with construction as well. Pricing depends on your group size and project. See the Class Album for some basic info on pricing.
Jewelry parties are also available. Are you a huge fan of the jewelry I make? Do you like to support small business? Host a b.fosto jewelry party! Your only cost will be your hosting budget. You will actually receive a gift certificate to use on any of my services or jewelry. The value amount will be based on how much in sales your party generates. I offer prizes and give-aways at these events as well; much like other jewelry parties many of us have attended. The difference is that there’s no pressure to “book another party” and you’re supporting a local artist. How cool is that?
My jewelry collection is often one-of-a-kind, but I’m always happy to recreate pieces that have already found a home. There’s never a guarantee that I still have the same materials, but I can usually create something similar, at the very least.
Feel free to browse my etsy shop www.etsy.com/shop/bfosto, if you like what I’ve made. Or, consider hosting a jewelry party (see parties album). Custom jewelry consultations are always an option as well, and can be whatever you want. I’ve done consultations over phone and email from afar, and also in person. It can be as simple as a charm on a chain, or as dramatic as a multi-strand knotted statement piece. I’m here to help you find just what you need to complete your outfit or look.
Birthstone jewelry technically falls under the custom category, but it certainly deserves its own album. Birthstones add an extra special touch to sentimental jewelry, and are often the obvious go-to for mothers’ gifts. But let’s not stop there. Personalized jewelry and thoughtful trinkets can be for any family member, friends, and significant others. Collective groups of jewelry can be made, or larger pieces to be “sectioned out” in the future. Feel free to schedule a consultation to discuss ideas for your sentimental needs.
I specialize in precious metal findings and beads, as well as semi-precious gemstones and birthstones. My selection consists of many unusual or hard-to-find items, along with basic necessities for jewelry construction. My stock is constantly evolving and growing, so not all items may be restocked.
Precious metal findings and beads are all sold individually, or by the foot. If you would like larger quantities, let me know and we can work out a special order and/or discounts based on quantity.
Semi precious gemstones are available by the strand or 1/2 strand. I also have some select individual pieces available for sale.
If you’re looking for something specific, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m happy to help you find it, if i’m capable.
